Do not waste your time and money with any other cooling fans on the market. This fan is IP68 Rated for use in areas exposed to dust, fine dirt particles and moisture that can quickly clog up a standard fan and cause it to failure early in life. We use ball bearing fans because they are less prone to wear and tear and can operate in any orientation and at higher temperatures. However, ball bearing fans are more complex and expensive than sleeve-bearing designs. If you look at most of the market, you will find most are not rated and use cheap fans that will run all the time even when the temperature is blow the value. This unit will turn the fans off so it use less power and is more efficient. The Controller is 12V/24v/48v four-wire PWM DC fan temperature control and speed regulator. You can connect up to 4 Fans to one controller and if the temperature is blow the value the fans will shut off. Unit spec 120mm IP63 PWM fanFan unit height is 67mm then your victron unit site ontop. ***** PLEASE NOT THAT THE CONTROLLER CAN SUPPORT 12/24/48V BUT THIS KIT HAS ONLY 12V FANS. SO PLEASE JUST BUY THE CONTROLLER AND CONNECT YOUR OWN FANS IF YOU NEED 24v OR 48V. VOLTAGE AND FANS MUST BE THE SAME****  The Controller used an ARM core single-chip microcomputer as the main control chip, with temperature display, the speed governor controls the fan speed through the detected temperature, the higher the temperature, the faster the speed, when the temperature is lower than the start temperature, the switch will stop or maintain the minimum speed. When it’s higher than the start-up temperature, the fan will run at lower speed. If the temperature continues to rise, the fan speed will slowly increase. When the temperature rises to the set full speed temperature, the fan will run at full speed, and when the temperature starts to drop, the fan speed is also automatically reduced to work in this cycle.  The temperature probe is sealed with 1% high precision thermistor and epoxy resin, waterproof and moisture-proof. The metal part of the probe is the temperature sensitive point. The default length of the connection wire is 200cm . When in use, fix the probe on the heating source or in the air  Connect the wiring according to the interface description   Please see images for how to install the unit.  After the power supply is turned on, the POW light on the main board will light up. At this time, the governor will start to detect the current temperature and adjust the fan speed according to the currently set temperature range. Take the factory default temperature range of the governor as an example. The factory default temperature range of the controller is L=30℃, H=50℃, when the current temperature is detected to be greater than or equal to 30℃, the speed governor will adjust the fan speed in a linear proportion, as the temperature rises, the fan speed will also increase. When the temperature is ≥50℃, the fan becomes full speed. When the temperature drops to ≤ 27°C (L-3), the governor keeps the fan at the minimum speed/or shuts down the fan.  Single fans current draw - 0.7A  What is PWM ?  PWM fans will usually set you back more but use less power and produce less noise. DC fans are just as effective and cheaper, but they will also be noisier.  What is an IP rating and what does it mean?  An IP (Ingress Protection) rating is an international standard that shows you the level of dust and water resistance. The fan has been certified to an IP68 rating and is built to help you do more, in more places. With an IP68 rating, they are water resistant in fresh water to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes and are protected from dust - all without the need for extra cases or covers.
