Faber-Castell TK-Fine Vario L Mechanical Pencil - 0.7 mm

Made by one of the world's oldest and most respected pencil manufacturers, the TK-Fine Vario L is as intelligent as it is elegant. Its hexagonal dark green barrel—an homage to the company's wooden pencils—is complemented by a smooth, flared metal grip section. Not only does this give the pencil a stylish, professional look, it also gives it a low center of balance for improved tip control. The pencil's long, thin twist eraser lets you precisely erase small mistakes without having to frequently replace the eraser. And the 4 mm long lead sleeve makes it easy to draw along a stencil or ruler. Perhaps most cleverly, the pencil includes a pressure-absorbing spring mechanism in the tip to help prevent lead breakage. When too much pressure gets put on the lead, it retreats back into the pencil to avoid snapping. Twisting the grip section activates and deactivates the mechanism, letting you choose whether or not to use it.
