The recipe is exactly the same as it was used about 100 years ago - the production process has remained very traditional today as it was then.

The 30 carefully selected botanicals, including juniper berries and rhubarb roots, give this Select Aperitivo an aromatic and exciting taste.

The year was 1920 and Venice was in deep turmoil following World War I. The young Pilla brothers, with their distillery and expertise in the art of making liquors, seized this unique moment and used it to their advantage.
