Que ya existan más de 3 millones de aplicaciones para móviles no es obstáculo para que se siga innovando en este campo. También hay quien intenta aprovecharse de los proyectos ajenos y es frecuente la aparición de copias que dañan la competitividad de los creadores originales. En este contexto, proteger la APP con derechos de propiedad industrial (PI) se hace imprescindible. En cuanto a la protección mediante patente, se da la circunstancia de que las APPs suelen vincularse con diferentes exclusiones a la patentabilidad y, por lo general, suele existir una noción de que son difícilmente protegibles. Este webinar desmontará ese mito y explicará cómo siempre existe una manera de proteger algún aspecto de una APP mediante otras modalidades de protección como marcas y diseños que pueden proporcionar y completar la protección. En la sesión se proporcionarán además ejemplos de diferentes casuísticas y se explicará cómo estas pueden resolverse con la forma de PI más idónea, de tal manera que el desarrollador de una APP o cualquier empresario que quiera ofrecer sus productos/servicios mediante una APP, pueda impulsar y defender su negocio a través de la PI.
