2021 Dalla Mia Finestra Shiraz

The Dalla Mia Finestra Shiraz is another great drop from this small but high-quality Yarra Valley producer. Sourced from a block planted in 1996, there's 25% whole bunches in the mix, helping to aid the savouriness of the wine. It's rich, very ripe, and although it's 14.4% alcohol, this is hidden very well in the wine.
The Dalla Mia Finestra Shiraz is another great drop from this small but high-quality Yarra Valley producer. Sourced from a block planted in 1996, there's 25% whole bunches in the mix, helping to aid the savouriness of the wine. It's rich, very ripe, and although it's 14.4% alcohol, this is hidden very well in the wine. Oak is minimal due to the use of older barrels, so the focus is on the fruit: blue and purple, plus plum, with black pepper and a touch of vanilla. While it's drinking excellently now, it could also be cellared for a few more years.
